Yes.  My old friend is back.  I’ve missed him.  

My grueling seasonal job as a live plant merchandiser is winding down or ending.  It was fun.   I’ve lost a few pounds.  I’m in much better shape these days.  And my skin is tan for a change.  Well – some of it is, anyway.

But as I say goodbye to the work and the in-shape and tan Dave Moon, I say hello again to Dave Moon, the bum.  Damn, I’ve missed you.

Yeh, the plant thing was good, but it sure screwed up a well-polished routine that took years to perfect.  Up around 7.  Coffee, smokes and online Hearts games until around 8:30.  A quick trip through Craigslist.  Cheese toast around 9 or so.  A well deserved nap.  A wake up smoke and a quick email check.  Then lunch and an afternoon power nap.  Maybe a sweet snack after the second nap and another fruitless check of electronic mail.  Maybe a shower.  Maybe not.  Most likely the next thing was an hour with Neil Cavuto.  

Ah.  Then cocktail hour.

I really have missed Dave The Bum.  Who the hell wouldn’t?

But, damn.  I do enjoy working.  And the naps, sweet snacks and even Cavuto are very appealing, but I need the work as well.  So consider this to be my on-line resume.

I will work any schedule.  But I prefer nothing before coffee and Hearts.  I will do any kind of labor, but I prefer ample time for the power naps.  I will work for almost any wage, but smoke breaks must be included.  And, for the love of God, pay me enough to buy a good quality chaser.  Straight shots at cocktail hour just doesn’t work for me.

So.  Anybody hiring?
